  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 225 g cream cheese
  • 400 ml evaporated milk
  • 5 large eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 400 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 120 ml vegetable oil
  • 240 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a bundt pan.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the sugar until completely dissolved and golden brown. Carefully pour into the prepared bundt pan and swirl to coat the bottom evenly.
Step 3
In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture over the caramel in the bundt pan.
Step 4
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions, using water and vegetable oil. Gently pour the batter over the flan mixture in the bundt pan.
Step 5
Cover the bundt pan with aluminum foil. Place it in a larger baking dish filled with about 2.5 cm (1 inch) of hot water.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 8
To serve, carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate. Enjoy!
