Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 100 ml oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the flour, water, and salt to make a dough. Knead until smooth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2
In a pan, heat some oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until golden brown.
Step 3
Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 4
Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll out each portion into thin sheets.
Step 5
Layer the sheets of dough, brushing each layer with oil, and spread the meat mixture evenly between layers.
Step 6
Roll the layered dough into a spiral shape and place it on a baking tray.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
