Manti are traditional Turkish dumplings filled with seasoned ground meat and served with a garlic yogurt sauce and a spicy butter sauce. This recipe guides you through making these delicious dumplings from scratch.

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the eggs and water. Knead until you have a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface until very thin. Cut into small squares, about 4 cm each.

Place a small amount of the meat mixture in the center of each square. Pinch the edges to form a dumpling.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top.
