  • 475 ml beef broth
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 800 g diced tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 800 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 800 g pinto beans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 800 g tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped jalapeno to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and beef broth.
Step 4
Add the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Add the kidney beans and pinto beans to the pot. Simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
Step 7
