Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 480 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 240 ml warm water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water.
Step 2
Add the sugar, salt, oil, and 2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth.
Step 3
Stir in the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Step 4
Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
Step 5
Divide dough into 12 pieces and shape each into a ball. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking pan.
Step 6
Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
Step 7
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool.
