  • 500 grams beef liver
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 30 grams butter
  • 50 grams flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Soak the liver in milk for 30 minutes to reduce bitterness.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Remove onions from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
Drain the liver and pat it dry with paper towels. Dredge the liver slices in flour, shaking off any excess.

Add butter to the skillet and melt it over medium heat.

Place the liver slices in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.

Season the liver with salt and black pepper.
