  • 50 g all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g halloumi cheese
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Cut the halloumi cheese into finger-sized sticks.
Step 2
In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Beat the egg in another shallow bowl.
Step 4
Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
Step 5
Coat each halloumi stick in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Step 7
Fry the halloumi sticks in the hot oil until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Remove the halloumi sticks from the pan and drain on paper towels.
