Directions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Steam or boil the broccoli florets until tender, then drain and set aside.

In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Stir well to combine.

Add the cooked broccoli florets and half of the shredded cheddar cheese to the pan. Mix until the broccoli is well coated with the sauce.

Transfer the broccoli mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and bread crumbs evenly on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
