  • 85 g brown mustard seeds
  • 5 g garlic powder
  • 5 g onion powder
  • 15 g salt
  • 10 g sugar
  • 120 ml water
  • 240 ml white wine
  • 240 ml white wine vinegar
  • 85 g yellow mustard seeds

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine the yellow and brown mustard seeds, white wine, and white wine vinegar. Cover and let sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
Step 2
Transfer the mixture to a blender. Add the water, salt, sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to achieve desired consistency.
Step 4
Transfer the mustard to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
Step 5
Let the mustard cool, then transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate. The mustard will continue to thicken as it chills.
