Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine 240g of flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Beat until smooth.

Gradually add the remaining flour to form a soft dough.

Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.

Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

Punch dough down. Divide into 12-15 pieces and shape each into a ball. Place in a greased baking pan.

Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from pan to wire rack. Brush with additional melted butter if desired.
