  • 500 g blackberries
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
Step 2
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the blackberries are soft and the mixture has thickened.
