A colorful and nutritious salad perfect for gatherings. This 7-layer salad is easy to make and visually appealing, featuring a variety of fresh vegetables, cheese, and a creamy dressing.

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 200 grams cheddar cheese
  • 400 grams frozen peas
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 240 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 red onion
  • 240 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Chop the lettuce and place it evenly at the bottom of a large glass bowl.
Step 2
Layer the thawed peas on top of the lettuce.
Step 3
Add a layer of chopped green bell pepper over the peas.
Step 4
Next, add a layer of chopped red onion.
Step 5
Layer the chopped celery on top of the red onion.
Step 6
In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sour cream together. Spread this mixture evenly over the celery layer.
Step 7
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the mayonnaise mixture.
Step 8
Top the salad with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
Step 9
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
