  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 120 g butter
  • 60 ml corn syrup
  • 110 g popcorn kernels
  • 2 g salt
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).

Pop the popcorn kernels and place them in a large bowl.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract.

Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
