Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato puree
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g yogurt

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, paprika, and salt. Add the chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.
Step 3
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
Step 4
Stir in the tomato puree and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Add the heavy cream and mix well. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 6
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Serve with rice or naan bread.
