In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.

Gradually add water to the flour mixture, kneading well until you form a smooth dough.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.

On a floured surface, roll out each ball into a thin circle.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.

Cook each roti for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until brown spots appear and the bread puffs up slightly.
