  • 300 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 20 grams fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese
  • 400 grams penne pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they start to soften and release their juices.
Step 4
Stir in the chopped basil leaves and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the tomato and basil mixture.
Step 6
Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss to combine.

Serve the pasta warm, garnished with extra basil leaves if desired.
