  • additional powdered sugar
  • 240 grams all-purpose flour
  • 226 grams butter
  • 120 grams chopped nuts
  • 60 grams powdered sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 4
Gradually add the flour, mixing until well combined.
Step 5
Stir in the finely chopped nuts.
Step 6
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Step 8
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheets.
Step 9
While still warm, roll the cookies in additional powdered sugar. Allow to cool completely and roll them in powdered sugar once more for a perfect snowy coating.
