Directions
Step 1
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
Step 4
Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
Step 5
Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Step 6
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the ribs are tender.

Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
Step 8
Brush additional barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Step 9
Broil the ribs in the oven for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
