Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

Beat the cream cheese with 200g of sugar and the vanilla extract until smooth.

Unroll the crescent roll dough, and use a rolling pin to shape each piece into a 9x13 inch rectangle.
Step 4
Press one piece into the bottom of a baking dish. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
Step 5
Cover with the remaining piece of dough.
Step 6
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top. Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven until the dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Step 8
Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
