  • 50 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Peel and grate the potatoes and onion. Place them in a clean towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes and onion with the eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the potato mixture into the skillet and flatten it with a spatula. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove the latkes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
