  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 15 g ginger
  • 60 g gochujang
  • 30 g honey
  • 30 ml rice vinegar
  • 30 ml sesame oil
  • 10 g sesame seeds
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Add minced garlic, minced ginger, gochujang, and honey to the bowl. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Step 3
Stir in water to achieve the desired consistency for the BBQ sauce.
Step 4
Sprinkle in sesame seeds and give the sauce one final stir.
Step 5
Use the sauce immediately as a marinade, dipping sauce, or glaze. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
