Paneer Tikka Masala is a popular Indian dish made with marinated paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cubes cooked in a spicy and creamy tomato-based gravy. This delicious vegetarian dish is perfect for serving with naan or rice.
Directions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Add paneer cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the marinated paneer cubes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
In the same pan, heat butter and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
Step 5
Add green chili, coriander powder, and kasuri methi. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the fried paneer cubes and mix well. Add cream and cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
Step 7
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
