  • 120 g butter
  • 10 g cinnamon
  • 450 g cottage cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 240 ml milk
  • 100 g raisins
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 450 g wide egg noodles

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Add the cooked noodles to the mixture and stir to combine.
Step 5
Fold in the raisins and half of the cinnamon.
Step 6
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon on top.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
