These delicious Asian dim sum dumplings are filled with a savory mixture of ground pork, shrimp, and vegetables. Perfect as an appetizer or main course, they are sure to impress your guests.
Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, shredded cabbage, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 2
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture into the center of the wrapper.
Step 3
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal, making sure there are no air pockets. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Step 4
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and carefully add the dumplings. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.
Step 5
Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
