Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Season the ground beef with salt and black pepper, then form into four patties.
Step 2
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they're fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your preferred level of doneness.
Step 6
To assemble, place a scoop of cooked white rice on each plate, top with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and then pour the gravy over the top. Serve immediately.
