Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 45 ml lemon juice
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 500 g pork tenderloin
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 wooden skewers

Directions

Step 1
Cut the pork tenderloin into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3
Add the pork cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Step 4
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 5
Thread the marinated pork, red onion wedges, and bell pepper chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers.
Step 6
Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
Step 7
Serve immediately with pita bread and tzatziki sauce, if desired.
