  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 walleye fillets

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.

Dip each walleye fillet into the egg mixture, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the fish.

Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the fillets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
