  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g flour
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 900 g sweet potatoes
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash the sweet potatoes.

In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes with granulated sugar, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Transfer the sweet potato mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, and softened butter to make the topping. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
