  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 links Italian sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup white wine
  • 1 yellow bell pepper

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
Step 3
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Flip and brown the other side, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
Step 5
Add the garlic, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Pour in the white wine and red wine vinegar, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Return the chicken and sausage to the skillet. Add the chicken broth and rosemary sprigs.
Step 8
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
