A delicious and easy chicken dish where the rice and chicken cook together in one pan. It's perfect for a no-fuss dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 cup white rice

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine white rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water. Mix well.
Step 3
Pour the rice mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 4
Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
Step 5
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the top of the chicken and rice.
Step 6
Dot the top with butter.
Step 7
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Do not peek or remove the foil during cooking.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
