  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 120 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1
In a small bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Add the homemade taco seasoning mix to the beef and stir well to combine.

Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Step 6
Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully coated with the seasoning and the liquid has reduced.
