Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these Hasselback potatoes are a perfect side dish for any meal. With a beautiful presentation and a delicious flavor, they are sure to impress your guests.

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Step 2
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Step 3
Place each potato between two wooden spoons or chopsticks. Slice the potatoes thinly, making sure not to cut all the way through to keep the slices connected at the bottom.
Step 4
Combine the melted butter and olive oil in a small bowl. Brush the potatoes with the mixture, making sure to get it in between the slices.
Step 5
Sprinkle the potatoes with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and fresh thyme leaves.
Step 6
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 60 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Hasselback potatoes!
