Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink similar to eggnog. It's creamy, rich, and infused with coconut flavors, making it a festive treat perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 400 ml cream of coconut
  • 370 ml evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 300 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 240 ml white rum

Directions

Step 1
In a blender, combine coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and cream of coconut. Blend until well mixed.
Step 2
Add white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg to the blender. Blend again until smooth.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add the cinnamon sticks.
Step 4
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
Step 5
Stir well before serving. Serve cold, and optionally garnish with additional cinnamon sticks or a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
