Classic Lemonade

A refreshing and tangy homemade lemonade perfect for hot summer days. Simple to make with fresh lemons, sugar, and water.

Ingredients

  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 4 lemons
  • 950 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Juice the lemons to make about 1 cup of lemon juice. Remove any seeds.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let this simple syrup cool to room temperature.
Step 3
In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
Step 4
Taste the lemonade and add more water or sugar if needed.
Step 5
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve over ice and enjoy!
