  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 200 grams brown sugar
  • 230 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 240 grams old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 150 grams raisins
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.

Mix in the oats and raisins until evenly distributed.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
