Ingredients

  • 900 g bread cubes
  • 115 g butter
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 475 ml chicken broth
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp thyme

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and celery to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked vegetables, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
