Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
