  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 gram salt
  • 227 grams unsalted butter
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt, mixing until just combined.

Roll the dough into a log shape, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Slice the chilled dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
