Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 g steak
  • 8 tortillas

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
Step 2
Place the steak in the marinade and coat it evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
Step 3
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is reached. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
Step 4
In the same skillet, add the sliced red and green bell peppers and onion. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
Step 5
Return the sliced steak to the skillet and toss with the vegetables to combine and heat through.
Step 6
Serve the steak and vegetable mixture in warm tortillas. Add your favorite toppings such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, or cheese.
