  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 500 g lima beans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1000 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the lima beans under cold water.

In a large pot, add the lima beans and water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes until the beans are tender.

Drain the beans and set aside.

In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
