  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 cups potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, diced onion, 0.25 cup melted butter, salt, and pepper.

Spread the potato mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes with 0.25 cup melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the potato casserole.
