  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Step 2
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.

Rub the mixture all over the ribs.
Step 5
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Step 6
Drizzle the ribs with olive oil.

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
Step 9
Remove the top foil and brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
