Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 240 ml bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 60 ml ketchup
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Step 3
Place the meat mixture into a loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the top is slightly caramelized.
Step 6
Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
