Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the ground beef mixture, and then half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

Pour half of the soup mixture over the layers in the baking dish.

Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ground beef, and cheddar cheese.

Pour the remaining soup mixture evenly over the top.
