Ingredients

  • 120 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
Step 3
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk until well combined.
Step 4
Gradually add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, whisking until smooth.
Step 5
Stir in the melted butter.
Step 6
Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, place a popover pan or muffin tin in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes to heat.
Step 8
Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven and evenly distribute the batter into the cups, filling each about halfway.
Step 9
Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the popovers are golden brown and puffed.
Step 10
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
