Ingredients

  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 240 g bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 ml milk
  • 12 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 500 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Cut mozzarella cheese sticks in half to make 24 pieces.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 3
Place the flour in a separate bowl.
Step 4
In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk.
Step 5
Dip each mozzarella stick in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
Step 6
Repeat the dipping process for each stick to ensure a thick coating.
Step 7
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 180°C.
Step 8
Fry the mozzarella sticks in small batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 9
Remove the sticks and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 10
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
