  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 225 g mozzarella cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 450 g rotini pasta
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 680 g tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.

Combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce and mix well.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a large baking dish.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
