  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 300 grams fettuccine
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 450 grams shrimp

Directions

Step 1
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cream slightly thickens.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp with the creamy sauce.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
