  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • ice
  • 0.5 cup lime juice
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 8 cups water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

Add the hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and remove from heat.
Step 4
Let the mixture steep for about 20 minutes.
Step 5
Strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher, discarding the flowers.
Step 6
Stir in the sugar and lime juice until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 7
Refrigerate the tea until it is chilled.
