Ingredients

  • 220 g brown sugar
  • 120 g butter
  • 240 ml corn syrup
  • 200 g sugar
  • 400 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk.
Step 2
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.
Step 3
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 5
Allow to cool completely, then cut into small squares and wrap in waxed paper.
